Sprachverstärkung aus Hummerland

In diesem Schuljahr profitiert die Fachschaft Englisch von einer Sprachassistentin, die den Englischunterricht mit ihrem muttersprachlichen Englisch bereichern wird. Liza Gallant kommt aus dem amerikanischen Bundesstaat Maine, der für seine Hummer bekannt ist. Sie stellt sich uns selbst vor:

Hi! I'm Liza.
I’m the English Language Assistant at the Gymnasium Unterrieden this year. I come from a small town (2,500 people) in Maine, a state in the northeastern corner of the United States. After high school, I studied at Pomona College, a small liberal arts school in Southern California. There, I studied German and Linguistics. I have also lived in Colombia and Switzerland.

I grew up swimming competitively and love everything that has to do with water, like waterskiing, sailing, and snorkeling. I play a lot of music, and my favorite kind to listen to is Country – I will be sure to introduce you all to it! I also love cooking, traveling, and YouTube cat videos.
